Hi – My name is Mark Knowles, and I am a professional blogger and online publisher/internet marketer. I have made my living online for the last four years  and find doing this as a living to be rewarding, lucrative, fun, boring, frustrating and soul destroying. I set up this site in response to the amount of frustration I was feeling at the high level of failures amongst the many, many systems and pieces of software for sale that claim to help one either make a living by Internet marketing or perform some vital function that is necessary to market one self or one’s company on the Internet and the amount of times I am approached by people asking for advice and “what have I done wrong?”  The answer to the latter is usually either unrealistic expectations based on buying a “magic bullet,” or not putting enough work in.

I have said it before and I will say it again -

Sad to say – this applies to the information, instructional videos and education available from self-proclaimed Internet gurus as much as it does to the many services offered for sale, ranging from secretarial services to Search Engine Optimization services. I stand by any product or service offered on this site and I have either tried it myself, do it myself or use some one I personally trust to do it on my behalf.

One of the frustrations many people find is they tend to try and beat the system, using so-called “black hat” SEO services that will eventually stop working. When the traffic dries up – they disappear. The other frustration is that – what worked this week – may well not work next week. With a few exceptions.

Get Rich Quick

If you are here looking to get rich quick, I am not going to be able to help you. If you are looking to create a sustainable online presence – be that affiliate marketing, selling your own products and services, or maintaining a web presence for some other reason – you are in the right place. I am not offering a magic bullet – and if one exists – I have not found it. I have found things that do work, and invariably they require some amount of work – either on your part, or a willingness on your part to pay some one else to do the required work for you.
